SAP’s Adoption Success Services’ organization delivers all sorts of services to support our customers in their digital transformation to become an intelligent enterprise. We sustain the adoption of SAP software and ensure that our customers can successfully plan, implement, integrate, and operate their software, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem solving and knowledge transfer. SAP is a global organization consisting of both central expertise teams and of local customer centric teams.
Within the services organization, the Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) team focuses on driving the digitalization agenda of our energy, oil and gas, chemicals, mill and mining and utility customers through advising, designing, and supporting the implementation of SAP solutions. Value generation, business process management, transformation methodology and change management are in our DNA.
We are looking for a new ENR colleague with the following qualities:
- A genuine passion for driving client success and delivering business outcomes related to business transformation initiatives.
- Proven industry knowledge in energy and/or oil and gas and/or chemical sectors.
- A collaborative networker to build an external and internal network, who does not shy away from a complex matrix organization or challenging client engagements.
- A curious mind to stays abreast with newest developments driving digital transformations as well as the top industry and business trends; uses this knowledge to drive the SAP transformation story with customer engagements.
- Expertise in process optimization, business case building, IT architecture and roadmap design. Defines the strategic, conceptual, and organizational boundaries for the design of the SAP-centric IT landscape and has an eye for the change impact on the processes and people in the organization.
- Sales savviness: proactively collaborating on opportunities, pitching at C-level, and supporting sales trajectories. Influences SAP’s customers to maximize their investment into SAP solutions and effectively increasing cloud adoption.
- A hands-on mentality to troubleshoot key customer issues when required and the ability to drive issues to successful resolution.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Minimal bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge of industry processes and trends in any of the following industries:
- Energy, Oil and Gas
- Chemicals and petrochemicals
- Expert knowledge of trends, processes, and SAP solutions in any of the following process areas:
- Oil and Gas production and refining.
- Chemicals and lubricants manufacturing.
- Commodity Trading.
- Commodity supply chain.
- Environmental and Social Governance
- Sustainable energy
- Current knowledge of IT trends and their impact on business strategies with specific focus on the latest SAP solutions
- Excellent (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership skills to create a vision and put this into action with a team.
DESIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a balance of the following:
- Experience within the industry/process area domains listed in the skills section.
- Broad experience of SAP's portfolio of solutions and specific detailed experience of delivering solutions for industries listed above.
- Proven track record of business transformation and/or SAP solution implementation experience as team lead/architect.
- Consulting/Advising experience across the customer transformation lifecycle, with specific experience in any of the following areas as a plus (but not mandatory):
- Data management
- Project management
- Deal support and pre-sales
- Business process management
- Fit to Standard program mindset.
LOCATION
Although this role is based in the Netherlands, this could be subject to change if we find our talented new team member elsewhere in EMEA North. However, financial support for a move is not available.
