Purpose & Objective of Position

The Global Channel Marketing Enablement intern will support the organization’s development of marketing enablement activities to support SAP partners in the GB space and their customer assets in the Small and Midsize Business community. The candidate must have a strong and intimate knowledge of the current social media landscape and have a passion for content development and writing to support partner activities. This person must be a self-starter with a passion to continuously grow content, a good writer and able to take initiative to meet partner and internal needs.

 

Expectations & Tasks

  • Support SME Marketing seminar series communication activities
  • Curate/Generate engaging content to help build awareness of sessions
  • Manage partner marketing social channels
  • Engage with partner followers on social media platforms through support, messages and blogs
  • Execute partner social media campaigns
  • Schedule support messages and campaign messages through social media channels (Twitter, Facebook)
  • Participate and engage in Tweetchats
  • Help create quarterly reports on partner social media performance
  • Develop a network of influence and engagement with your own social media accounts by engaging with partners, customers and relevant SAP employees

 

Skills / Competencies

  • Fully immersed in all major social networks
  • Ability to develop & execute content calendars
  • Experience and success with social media for business purposes (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, Google+ etc.)
  • Experience analyzing social media metrics
  • Experience overseeing numerous projects
  • Proven ability to excel in high-stress, fast-paced environments
  • Proven ability to quickly identify problems and solve them
  • Highly attentive to detail
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong editing/writing skills for social support messages and blogs
  • Working knowledge of a social scheduling program (Hootsuite, Sprinkler)

     

Educational Requirements

  • Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters, MBA or PhD degree program which is applicable to the position
  • Seeking degrees in Liberal Arts, Marketing, General Business or Communications
  • Limited commensurate experience in marketing positions a plus
