What you will do

 

Business Manager Professional Services Delivery at SAP Fieldglass in our Delivery organisation is overall responsible for efficient and effective delivery of software implementation services to our customers. Your team of Project and Functional Delivery Consultants are subject matter expert in the SAP Fieldglass application and drive functional design consultation through deep understanding of our customer’s business problems/ requirements, goals, and objectives. They present recommendations/ solutions based on industry best practice and best use of the application and its functionalities to drive design and configuration decisions.
In the projects, this team will engage with various cross functional teams, in addition to the customer project team and third-party SAP partners. 
You will support your team to ensure activities and tasks are executed to plan, and any risks or issues proactively identified, mitigated, and resolved wherever possible. You will work closely with functional and technical leads from the customer/ third partner SAP partner project teams 
You will develop and maintain positive working relationships, both internally and externally.

  • Encourage people to continuously question the status quo and activate their creative and innovative skills: stimulate individuals to think outside established solutions and processes, invite the team to learn from everything, accept failing investments, think and act lean
  • Coach people on their individual development and career opportunities and act as a mentor: support team members and mentees in development planning and fulfilment, act as coach and guide for individuals to find their right career track, turn active if individuals are passive on their development

 

Other Management Tasks

  • Active support in entire Sales and Delivery Engagement across the Procurement and External Workforce Management portfolio with particular focus on the SAP Fieldglass solution portfolio
  • Structure, development and effective management of a strong consulting team within SAP Fieldglass Professional Services Delivery
  • Develop and manage portfolio and team’s growth and skill sets
  • Lead knowledge management initiatives regarding the development and use of intellectual property
  • Support knowledge sharing initiatives
  • Consulting Liaison for SAP Fieldglass Product and Partner Management, Product Engineering and Customer Support teams
  • Supply, Demand and Forecast (skill gap planning) Management
  • Coordination of project staffing in close contact with the entire Management team and Delivery Executives
  • Liaison with Field Services Organization, Service Sales and Customer Success Partners
  • Harmonize decisions across multiple opinions across competing organizations
  • Identifying of training needs for strategic areas
  • Reporting on Utilization, Forecast and business-relevant KPIs
  • Drive and support strategic initiatives e.g. Consulting Services Definition & Maintenance, Forecast Management, Partner Management

 

What you bring

 

  • Solid knowledge in delivering projects as architect / project manager in SAP implementation projects for prominent customers
  • Min. 15 years of consulting / consulting management roles experience
  • Ability to drive execution within area of responsibility and experience in aligning cross-topic objectives & approaches
  • Experience in strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex projects & programs
  • Experience in customer interaction 
  • Decision making
  • Managed teams for direct business outcomes
  • Led project delivery as project or delivery manager
