The Team

 

The S/4HANA Cloud Delivery department drives and executes all required activities based on an end-to-end approach and facilitates the complete life cycle management from development engagement to design, production, and service of our productive customer landscapes of SAP’s S/4 HANA Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

 

Cloud Delivery Team operates 24X7 to support our Customers across various locations. We collaborate closely with S/4HANA Product Development, Architecture, Cloud Infrastructure and Solution Management colleagues spread across various geographies to contribute to the fast-growing Cloud Landscape of the S/4HANA Cloud product.

 

The Role

 

  1. Onboarding, maintaining & ensuring availability for SAP customers as per defined SLA
  2. Creation and/or Redesign of existing operation concepts in the SAP Development/Verification/Productive Environment
  3. Technical and operational tasks incl. tracking and processing of customer requests
  4. Contribute and conclude Root Cause Analysis
  5. Assign each member of the team tasks based on their competencies and the needs of the group to meet daily deliverable goals.
  6. Track the ongoing activities in the shift and guide/support to achieve on time completion with high quality.
  7. Drive escalations to closure. Escalate issues to higher management/stakeholders to minimize adverse impact to the business.
  8. Support Continuity of Business. Outline the types of activities and responsibilities required for the job.  Define priorities of tasks and effectively leverage capacity during the shift
  9. Coordination with other support functions and team to resolve the issues in a timely manner.  Ensure that all long running/burning topics are being addressed effectively.
  10. Smooth transition of all open topics from one shift to another and have an overview on all operational processes. Accountable for handling the shift.

The Role Requirements

 

  • 5 - 9 years of relevant experience in Basis & HANA DB Administration along with SAP NetWeaver Technology.
  • Exposure to ITIL/ITSM processes, ITIL certification preferred.
  • Must have experience working in product support projects and 24X7 working model
  • Strong Communication and Coordination skills.
  • Understanding of SaaS and Cloud offerings or products, and related processes is an advantage.
  • Holistic understanding of SAP Basis, HANA, Linux OS, Virtualization and other Infrastructure areas like Storage and Network.
