About The Team:
The above role is for a critical position in the Business Network (BN) Team based out of Bangalore, India. Team is responsible for the Business Network Trading partner onboarding, Invoicing and SAP Ariba Commerce Automation. Primary focus will be new innovation.

Summary and Role Information:
This is a development role with immense potential for growth. The potential candidate would work closely with other members of the team and other functional groups within SAP Ariba.

• Provide basic to intermediate technical production/applications support and assistance for customer issues and make Customers happy.
• Works independently to gather information, pose workarounds, carry out necessary research, and provide an in-depth analysis to resolve production/application issues, customer requests and inquiries, escalating to a lead or manager when appropriate.
• Provide severity and scope analysis of issues, inquiries and requests; maintaining ownership until resolution. 
• Works in group or independently on side projects as needed and assigned.
• Efficiently organizes and addresses multiple production issues and customer requests from several sources, delegating when and if appropriate.

Experience/ Role Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related fields.
• Overall 4-6 years of development experience developing production grade software.
• High Proficiency in Core Java and Web services and should have worked on Design, implementation of complex applications.
• UI based technologies such as Angular, bootstrap, React etc. – a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in coding web-based applications.
• Sound knowledge of Computer Science areas and fundamentals.
• Good hold on HTTP protocol and related technologies.
• Should possess understanding of least one RDBMS system.
• Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
