Job Title
SAP Capacity Planning and Seat Management Lead


We are looking for an experienced Capacity Planning and Seat Management (CPSM) professional to lead SAP into the new flexible Workplace of the future. SAP is implementing new innovative Flex strategies at its Workplace and seating methodology and we are looking at someone who can lead the way.  


The Role
We, at SAP, expect new innovative CPSM methodologies to spearhead new ways of working at the workplace. 
The CPSM lead is expected to spearhead these seat planning initiatives and also look to infusing technology into an otherwise traditional function. Ability to handle/analyse data and convert these data points into business decision-making would be a key capability.  
He/She is expected to lead a team of Space Planners (from our partners) in achieving organizational goals.   


Key programs that will be expected to be a part of the role are :  
Technology roadmap
•Plan and deploy tech roadmap for Capacity Planning platforms


Space Assignments
•Allocate or reallocate individual space assignments based on validated business need
•Determine zones or neighbourhoods based on seat sharing ratio for mobile workers
•Negotiate the transfer of space between business units
•Space Analysis - Neighbourhood Planning
•Identify opportunity to optimize the space utilization
•Create space plan as needed, when modifying density or making other changes to the workspace
•Serve as the client’s single point of contact for daily operational occupancy requests and determine the appropriate solutions to address client requests.


Tracking and reporting
•Track, monitor and report on space requests and any associated KPIs
•Monthly/Periodic Stacking Plan
•Projects move planning & Co-ordination
•MIS / Reports
•Utilization report analysis


Change Management
•Support Change management during implementation of Flex concepts.
•Support on provision of required data 


Move co-ordination
•Plan project moves during BU re-org
•Monitor invoice submissions (if any) to the finance team 


Data management and maintenance
•Seating Capacity Data Management 
•Head Count management 
•Undertake regular audits of the floor plan and ensure seat counts are correct 
•Ticket Management - New hire, exit, relocation
•Ensure updation and inventory of drawings


Reporting and Analytics
•Analyse utilisation patterns and implement suitable methodologies
•Build robust dashboards
•Manage the reporting schedule and deliverables for data quality and space and occupancy metrics
•Conduct analysis of Analytics dashboards according to refresh schedule and provide insights 


Churn & Project Move execution
•Plan and manage project moves with business unit representatives, end users and facility leads
•Plan and manage individual moves, new hires as requested by end users
•Co-ordinate with packers, movers and help raising PO (Budget analysis)
•Move management
•Coordination with other agencies like Security teams for key allocation


Role Requirements
The candidate should have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in Capacity Planning and Seat Management in a MNC (ideally based in India). Ideally, he/she should ideally have experience in evaluating and deploying technologies to be used in Seat planning functions.
