Summary

The Cross Unit Quality Services team at SAP provides services and tools that ensure the Global Technology Legal Compliance, seamless Integration and Accessibility, for all SAP Development teams who deliver the SAP Intelligent Enterprise.

 

Role

This job opening is for the Accessibility services team, that focuses on enabling the development teams to deliver accessible solutions by providing centralized accessibility testing and automation services. We are now looking for a motivated individual with knowledge of accessibility standards and accessibility testing experience to join on our mission. You will be part of a highly motivated and empowered team, actively working on accessibility topics.

  • Liaising with development teams to understand their accessibility goals and testing needs 
  • Plan and execute accessibility testing activities, using the assistive technology tools, for all SAP products 
  • Execute the accessibility tests automation activities 
  • Provide development teams with necessary training and expert guidance on accessibility testing and automation topics 
  • Stay abreast of changes to accessibility standards and assistive technologies

 

Role Requirement

  • Experience of doing accessibility testing using any of the tools like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver 
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 global accessibility standard and ability to explain its requirements 
  • Knowledge of Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and WAI-ARIA specifications
  • Good knowledge of SAPUI5 / HTML / CSS including concepts like layout, specificity, and accessibility topics 
  • Familiarity with assistive technology tools for both desktop and mobile environments e. g. screen readers, magnifiers, Colour Contrast Analyser etc.
  • Ability to lead accessibility testing working on multiple products of different types and scope 
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
