Team :

We, the S/4HANA Industries UX team design SAP's future by inspiring and supporting teams across industries with our expertise and passion. We are a highly motivated and creative team of interaction designers, user researchers, and visual designers, spread across 3 countries.

 

Role:

    • Support S4 Industries projects with state-of-the-art quantitative/qualitative user research to deliver great UX by translating research findings into actionable insights to help guide the product direction and team.
    • Partner with and collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers and customer-facing teams, to understand, plan and execute research projects
    • Collaboratively craft materials for research activities, such as research plans, moderator’s guides, and workshop templates that align methods and scope with needs and constraints, then execute the research sessions.
    • Synthesize/analyze data and findings, developing actionable insights, that are shared as compelling and digestible deliverables, focused on storytelling and highlighting important insights for longevity
    • Balance research rigor with agility to deliver timely, useful results
    • Be an ambassador for user research in our organization, keep up to date on the newest research trends and methods inside and outside SAP

 

Role and Requirement:

    • Education: Degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Masters) in Human-Computer Interaction/Psychology or comparable fields is required.
    • Minimum 8+ years of experience as a user researcher in a corporate agile software development environment - please attach a portfolio
    • Experience conducting countless user research studies (field, remote & lab)– conversant with  both quantitative and qualitative research methods; automated data gathering techniques are a plus
    • Experience interacting with research participants and coordinators based in different countries with attention to research study logistics and legal procedures
    • Soft Skills – Excellent & effective English communication skills, storytelling skills, teamwork, self-motivated, ability to handle ambiguity, demonstrates maturity & emotional intelligence, especially since the role requires extensive collaboration between multiple stakeholders working in a global setup.
    • Knowledge in the areas of Fiori Guidelines; Design Thinking would be an added bonus
