The Mid-Market segment represents SAP’s fastest growth opportunity, particularly in Cloud. To accelerate market share in Mid-Market, it is of strategic importance for SAP to lead the adoption of SAP innovation portfolio and advise, in concert with our partners, European SMEs to run at their best with SAP solutions.
 
YOUR FUTURE ROLE 
The e-Presales Senior Specialist/Expert for the EMEA Digital Hub supports the Midmarket and Partner Business of our Market Units to achieve high sales productivity based on volume business solution evaluation and deal support service. In this role, you scale through application of digital techniques and scalability of partners to drive business in the Midmarket customer segment. You are engaging with Sales in helping our customers drive their Digital Transformation by delivering simplified and innovate solutions in Supply Chain, Business Planning, Manufacturing, Operational Excellence and R&D/Engineering.

 

As a Supply Chain presales expert you will be focusing on driving Innovation and through the end-to-end processes in the field of ERP and Digital Supply Chain such as Design to Operate vision.
 
You will be supporting following areas:
 Deal Support
•    Conduct interactive discovery sessions with prospects, customers, and partners 
•    Positioning and demonstrating S4HANA and SAP Digital Supply Chain solutions capabilities, value proposition, key differentiators to prospective EMEA North customers 
•    Be able to demonstrate, build and maintain knowledge of SAP’s Core ERP solutions connected to supply chain, functional knowledge of SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) suite and SAP’s Manufacturing solutions
•    Manage occasionally RFx completion 
Demand Generation
•    Leverage your expertise in a proactive fashion to advise sales and support initiatives aiming at generating pipeline (1 to many events, advisory, creation and promotion of reusable content)
•    Collaborate with sales teams to plan account strategies
Readiness
•    Stay up to date with the latest SAP solutions as well as market trends. Maintain a close understanding and appreciation of competitive solutions.
•    Anticipate change, innovative business acumen and out of the box thinking to guide execution in a fast-paced environment
 
As the ePresales expert, you will:
•    Be the face of SAP and bring the solution to life through visual storytelling and demonstrations
•    Effectively present to customers remotely using virtual technologies
•    Represent SAP’s current cloud solutions and future direction
•    Provide answers to customer / internal SAP team inquiries concerning advanced solution topics
•    Develop a reputation for excellence in customer engagement
•    Share your knowledge with the greater Solution Advisory community
•    Collaborate on strategic internal projects
 
Experience:

•    5+ years of relevant Digital Supply Chain experience in enterprise software industry in Solution Sales & Presales & Consulting
•    Extensive knowledge/background in Supply Chain end-to-end business processes
•    Advanced/expert level knowledge of SAP and partner software solutions, specifically around relevant Supply Chain Business processes within the Design to Operate framework
•    Advanced/expert knowledge on SAP ERP S4HANA Cloud
•    Solution expertise and background on core SAP IBP solutions or other areas of expertise (in the Logistics Execution and/or Asset Management, Material Management, Sales Distribution, …)
•    Excellent presentation and digital communication skills (Video, Visual Tools)
Position based in Barcelona. Travel Requirements: less than 10%
