SAP Security Risk and Compliance (SR&C) is currently seeking a Security Compliance Transformation Principal to join our Security Risk and Compliance team. The Security Compliance Transformation Principal will assist with the implementation of strategic business plans which ensure success within the existing client base while developing and growing key relationships within functions supporting them.  The Security Compliance Transformation Principal will report to the VP of Strategic Initiatives and Governance (SIG) at SAP and work across the lines of businesses and shared service providers.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor compliance trends in the Americas and globally, including compliance initiatives, industry compliance failures and other internal and external Compliance trends to provide insight for leadership knowledge forums, newsletters and employee groups.
  • Drive best practices in SR&C’s overall Operating Model and work with Leaders on implications, change plans and optimization.
  • Represent business and technical needs/feedback in key leadership forums with engineering and business leaders.
  • Engage LOB’s for collaboration with Security leaders and engineering teams to drive design wins and platform adoption compliance with a variety of certifications and auditing.
  • Provide regular updates on SR&C program status to Executive Leadership
  • Delivery Excellence– Engagements will require working to resolve compliance questions and to understand how to manage risk and achieve compliance while operating in the Cloud through deep dive discussions, strategic presentations/recommendations.
  • Be a customer advocate - Work with security and engineering teams to convey deep technical requirements from as input to service roadmaps.
  • Gather and analyze potential red flags to Auditing processes and dependencies
  • Escalate red flags to business management for mitigation and approval or rejection, as deemed appropriate.


SAP SIG is looking for candidates that have:

  • professional designation or certification related to information security
  • Familiarity with security standards, practices, and certifications
  • Familiarity with Auditing processes and end to end Compliance practices
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computer Environment and Hyperscalers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of ISACA audit programs
