The Analytics & Reporting Analyst is a key member of the Sales Operations & Strategy team. This position requires a strong technical aptitude and knowledge of business needs to support the objectives of the Sales Organization. The Sales Strategy Analyst will be responsible for understanding, analyzing and distributing information critical to the success of the organization, and will develop and execute processes to ensure the timely completion of recurring tasks. Agility is required to address changing demands and respond quickly to ad hoc requests. Excellent organizational and time management skills, along with strong attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and design creative Tableau dashboards for sales teams and Senior Leadership, collaborating internally within Operations and externally with key stakeholders
  • Leverage existing data and reporting to analyze trends and provide input and recommendations that will help improve sales efficiency, forecasting and performance metrics
  • Define & develop standard reports, as well as ad-hoc requests leveraging efficient best practices.
  • Perform analysis by understanding the business needs, requirements and trends
  • Use SQL to develop and maintain datasources to be used company-wide for reporting and analytics
  • Monitor sales processes and provide statistical analysis of performance metrics
  • Work cross functionally to develop new tools and/or processes to increase the field’s productivity, communication or reporting capabilities
  • Serve as a champion of best practices, process improvement, and source of truth for external stakeholders, leading by example via analytics and program management
  • Adhere to project standards, provide progress status on completed tasks and outstanding issues, and produce quality work in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies

 

Education, Experience & Training required:

  • At least Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent degree and meaningful experience in business/sales operations or an equivalent function
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and rapidly develop proficiency with new systems and methods
  • Experience working with Excel required that includes skills beyond basic vlookups and pivot tables
  • Intermediate knowledge of Tableau with professional Tableau Desktop experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex dashboards
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL with professional experience working with big data required
  • Demonstrated ability to write and optimize accurate and complex queries leveraging joins, sub queries, and various built in functions
  • Strong knowledge of data organization and visualization concepts and applications
  • Exposure to Salesforce or SAP CRM a plus
