TEAM OVERVIEW 

The role of the Global Demand Center is to develop end-to-end marketing programs that deliver demand to the business.  The Global Demand Center teams collaborate with the CMSO teams to identify demand objectives, the Field Marketing teams to validate the demand routes and tactics, and business management teams to determine financial resources to create programs that deliver on the business’s demand needs.  

 

ROLE OVERVIEW 

The GDC Shared Services Strategist will drive the development and optimization of key programs across three strategic areas:  

 

  1. Cross-Platform Marketing Data Strategy 

  • Work across Integrated Demand Team, Channels, Analytics & Optimization, Marketing Automation Platforms (MAPS), and Campaign Services teams within the GDC and with M&S Operations, Intelligent Data & Analytics (ID&A), and Marketing Technology & Tools (MTT) to develop and deliver a cohesive, business-requirements driven data strategy to support all GDC analytics objectives 

  • Establish and implement processes for data governance and data quality management 

  • Develop and publish data management, data architecture, data acquisition, data warehousing, data access, tooling, reporting, visualization, and publishing practices 

 

  1. GDC Performance Management 

  • Collaborate with M&S Operations and Analytics & Optimization to develop a strategy for integrating data sources and automating reporting to support cross-channel programs optimization 

  • Drive an agile mindset and delivery culture 

  • Drive collaboration across teams and create forums to identify and capitalize on innovation and efficiency opportunities 

  • Develop cross-team optimization strategies and initiatives that enable marketing lead volume, velocity, and quality 

 

  1. Upskilling / Change Management 

  • Develop employee knowledge, capacity, and capability within GDC teams around the use of data to optimize performance  

  • Help foster a culture of test and learn by enhancing data literacy 

  • Work with various members of the GDC channel teams to ensure they have access to data, understand its use and how to leverage other data sources to optimize their programs 

  • Drive data innovation across the GDC by receiving feedback from the various leads on how to improve our communication of insights 

 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLSET  

  • Ability to collaborate and drive change across teams  

  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to distill and deliver relevant, actionable insights to executives across the organization 

  • Ability to understand multiple data sources, including what is measured and how the data is captured and reported on 

  • Capacity to understand complex enterprise data architecture and systems 

  • Ability to translate business problems into viable technical or analytical solutions 

  • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Digital Media, Programmatic, Search, Social and Ad technologies 

  • Demonstrated understanding of b2b analytics including A/B testing, marketing program analytics, and end-to-end customer journey analysis 

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills 

  • Background in data analysis and pipelining an asset 

  • Background or experience in predictive analytics and algorithms an asset 

  • 10+ years of data analytics and marketing experience 

  • 2+ years leading data, analytics, or operations teams 

  • Experience leading cross-functional data initiatives in an enterprise scale environment 

  • College degree or diploma in computer science or data science beneficial
