WHAT YOU´LL DO

SAP Business Technology Platform is the foundation for successful intelligent enterprises. SAP HANA Cloud is the database technology that fosters a tight integration of different business cases into a closely aligned toolset. We are therefore growing our design team and looking for a technical writer to help us shape the user experience of our database products.
As a User Assistance Developer on the Database and Data Management design team, you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues to improve our cloud database and data management solutions to deliver the best end-to-end experience.

As a User Assistance Developer, you will: 
•    Create the right information in the right place for our users – in admin tools and modern web-based documentation
•    Create user assistance deliverables in close collaboration with UX designers, development teams, and other internal stakeholders to enable users to deploy, administer, and use SAP HANA Cloud
•    Ensure that these deliverables are of high quality, adhere to standards and guidelines, and are written in appropriate style and tone for product and audience 

WHAT YOU BRING

•    We are looking for a User Assistance Developer with a university degree in technical writing, IT, or a related subject such as languages, translation, journalism, or communication
•    Excellent written and spoken skills in English
•    Interest in becoming a domain expert in the field of cloud databases
•    First relevant work experience that shows the ability to express complex information in a clean, clear, and concise manner
•    The ability to deliver on time, and ensure high quality 
•    Experience with tools such as Figma for the collaboration with designers, JIRA for working with developers, and DITA CCMS as an author is a plus
