SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION 

With the market convergence of workflow management, RPA, process analytics and collaboration solutions, business process automation is entering a new era: The age of Hyperautomation. For SAP, it is one of the most strategic areas of investment. In this role, you will be part of the team driving the product management and shaping et of SAP’s new Hyperautomation offering. 

As a Product Specialist, you will:

  • Work in a cross-functional team (product managers, product owners, engineers, scrum masters and designers), as well as in a horizontal product chapter, spanning across individual delivery teams
  • Take clear and informed decisions on product priorities
  • Break down complex scopes into milestones and prioritize Epics, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for functional and non-functional product requirements
  • Take ownership over the corporate product standards compliance of our product components
  • Maintain our product deliveries in SAP’s product & release management tooling
  • Oversee GDPR, DPP, SOA Requirements for our product components
  • Organize Security Validations and other auditing activities 
  • Lead the evaluation and introduction of novel regulatory or organizational requirements  
  • Contribute to translate compliance requirements into our development backlog in accordance with our product owners
  • Collaborate closely with several internal stakeholder such as legal teams, user assistance, customer engagement, user experience and development 
     

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent degree/ experience
  • Constantly seeking feedback and welcoming it as an opportunity to learn
  • Ability to oversee complex requirements and scenarios
  • Familiarity with corporate software requirement processes 
  • Proficient with refining product backlogs, writing user stories and developing acceptance criteria
  • Knowledge and general understanding of engineering & security best practices 
  • Excellent project manager that can plan 2-3 steps ahead of the team and surface hidden risks 2-3 levels deep within the team  
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively (Office language is English)

Work Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Project or Program Manager
