What you’ll do:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Security Architect (f/m/d), you will work with product development, product security, and other cyber security professionals to design and implement the security architecture for SAP Converged Cloud. You will maintain awareness of industry standards and best practices, and research and evaluate their applicability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define and enhance security solutions based on changing threat and regulatory landscape
  • Translate regulatory requirements into well-defined architecture guidance for product teams

Key tasks include:

  • Leverage thorough understanding of cloud services, technology, and infrastructure to develop comprehensive and holistic security architecture solutions
  • Identify product security risks and propose architectural countermeasures
  • Support product teams in conducting threat modeling, reviewing security scan results, and performing deep-dive design reviews
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify needs and conceptualize future state architecture designs
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, product interoperability, future state architecture, and multiyear execution road map
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, and recommend improvements; guide analysis of alternative security tools and methods that improve/advance/automate security processes
  • Represent area of responsibility in central working bodies and initiatives; facilitate flow of information between product teams and other security stakeholders 
  • Identify needs for security trainings/learnings; drive/contribute to creation and roll out of relevant materials; coach team(s) on secure development lifecycle
  • Proactively research on technology trends, changing threat and regulatory landscape, security best practices, and drive improved tools and techniques in current practice
  • Provide mentoring and training to junior staff members to enhance their skillset


What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines
  • 7-10 years of experience working in security area with relevant realm of responsibilities
  • Experience with implementing Agile and DevSecOps concepts
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, architectures, and best practices
  • Familiarity with security laws, strategies, processes, standards, and services 
  • Security Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GDSA, Security+, etc. are an asset
