What you'll do:

We are looking for a Content Marketing Lead (f/m/d) to support our integrated communications and marketing efforts with the goal to create awareness for our portfolio teams’ mission and successes. This will include the conceptualization, creation, and amplification of content for SAP’s owned channels. You will act as a communications consultant to the teams by vetting the right formats and channels to reach a broad audience. Furthermore, you will directly be working with the SAP.iO Foundries team, SAP’s global network of no equity-ask external startup accelerators. You will act as their single point of contact in all marketing and communication-related matters.

As Content Marketing Lead (f/m/d) and member of the New Ventures & Technology (NVT) Communications & Marketing Team, you will work closely with internal designers, our development teams, and global communications and marketing teams to create awareness for our programs and to craft tangible success stories.

We are looking for a creative mind with good project management skills and a passion for creating content and campaigns that resonate. You have experience in social media management and have created content in various forms – social, blogs, and videos. You feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, are a team player, and like to identify and craft stories.

As Content Marketing Lead (f/m/d), you will ...

1. Be responsible for the Marketing and Communications team’s content creation and strategy. This includes: 

  • Leading, developing, and executing content strategy for NVT in alignment with the unit’s business objectives and SAP’s corporate communications strategy
  • Writing and editing content like blogs, articles, thought leadership, and customer stories 
  • Script and produce videos that tell the NVT story, including but not limited to product explainer videos, animations, employee stories, and customer/partner stories 
  • Coordinating external agencies supporting the production of multimedia content
  • Maintaining the team’s content pipeline to reflect upcoming programs and campaigns 
  • Collaborating with the Marketing and Communications team, NVT teams, and the wider SAP marketing organization to ensure topic and strategic alignment 
  • Using analytics and metrics to measure performance and inform future programs


2. Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for our SAP.iO Foundries team with the goal to support the team in communications and marketing-related matters. In this role, you will have regular touchpoints with the Head of SAP.iO Foundries and the SAP.iO regional foundry heads and program managers to set strategic priorities. This includes: 

  • Positioning Foundry startup partners in SAP-owned and external media publications and newsletters 
  • Social media campaigns 
  • Writing and providing editorial oversight on Foundry-related content such as news bytes, interviews, and thought leadership


What you bring:

  • Hands-on experience in managing an editorial pipeline and calendar including the creation and amplification of the content 
  • Experience and skills in writing, blogging, and turning complex topics or new ideas into stories that resonate with specific target audiences
  • Experience in managing projects involving various stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Experience in gathering metrics for reporting and insights
  • Experience in working with and managing social media planning platforms like Sprinklr and in creating and maintaining content calendars
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Very good networking skills
  • Outstanding written communication skills in English, and fluency in German are a plus
  • Profound MS Office skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in the fields of business, humanities, communications, or marketing
  • Direct experience (4+ years) of working in the enterprise software industry, preferably in a B2B communications or marketing related role
  • Experience in a variety of content formats, including written articles, videos, and social
  • Experience in briefing and managing creative and production teams to develop high-quality communications and marketing collateral (digital, video, collateral, training, etc.)
