WHAT YOU'LL DO

 

As a Business Process Associate Consultant (f/m/d) you will start at SAP in the Career Starter Program and learn both basic methodological knowledge and industry-specific process know-how to adopt the SAP software of our customers to legal requirements in the complex energy and/or water markets. You will learn how to customize and to expand the SAP software to cover customer needs or wishes, be obliged to test the final result and to support the customer team before and after the Go-Live and during the productive use of the SAP software. You will have the chance to be actively involved at an early point in time with our development teams in innovation projects and you will learn about our methodologies for a successful project management. A personal “buddy” from your direct team will help you in your first steps and you will plan you further development and career at SAP in continuous contacts and talks with your direct manager.          

 

WHAT YOU BRING

 

- Bachelor- or Master Thesis finalized in a business and/or economics degree at an early stage, preferably with more technical specialization, e.g. in the direction of energy.
- In-depth knowledge in the field of energy management, e-mobility (Traffic Sciences), renewables, environmental sciences, or alternatively commercial and business management knowledge in finance and accounting with energy focus.
- A certain knowledge of software development with customer-specific focus and Business Technology Platform (BTP) knowledge.
- Willingness to work mobile and to support customers on-site if needed. 
- Very good knowledge of German and English. 
- Programming experience is desired, but not an absolute prerequisite depending on the focus area and/or the consulted application.

Our team supports customers in the Utilities industry in Germany which may include minor assignments in the German-speaking countries Austria and Switzerland. Especially the larger mid-market Utilities, specialized computer centers for Utilities and the large accounts in this market segment are our customers. We are supporting them in their End-to-End-processes in their complete IT architecture, the SAP applications and their integration issues while helping them to transform to become intelligent enterprises.
