About the team

SAP.iO Foundries is SAP’s global network of equity-free startup accelerators that are the fastest way for founders to launch a relationship with SAP. SAP.iO Foundries provides technical and go-to-market support to help startups integrate with SAP and accelerate their entry into a curated inclusive ecosystem whose offerings can be easily accessed and deployed by SAP customers. SAP.iO Foundries were formally launched in 2017 and have helped accelerate more than 380 startups across all lines of business and industries. SAP.iO currently has 10 Foundries located in San Francisco, New York, Berlin, Munich, Paris, Tel Aviv, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangalore, and Shanghai

As the SAP.iO Foundries & Intrapreneurship team’s Operations lead, you play a key role in the overall success of SAP.iO Foundries and in future-proofing SAP. The role

  • As the SAP.iO Foundries & Intrapreneurship Operations lead (f/m/d), your main responsibilities are to:
  • Become an expert in SAP.iO reporting systems and manage necessary updates, provide training, review data, and be the team subject matter expert.
  • Track and report on global team OKRs and help prepare QBR decks for management calls.
  • Assist in updating team documents and playbooks with guidance from local Foundry teams and your manager
  • Gather feedback from colleagues on improvements, create improvement overview documents on suggestions and assist in making improvement changes as directed.
  • Be the liaison between SAP.iO Foundry team and SAP Legal and SAP Data Protection, managing updates to contracts and other legal requirements and ensuring global processes are compliant.
  • Assist the Head of SAP.iO Foundries & Intrapreneurship with financial budgeting.

 

Role requirements

  • Has a Business Administration (Wirtschaftswissenschaften) Bachelor’s, or comparable, Master’s degree preferred, Finance and/or Project Management emphasis desired
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office 365, Airtable a plus
  • Soft skills: team player, expert in organizing, able to pick up quickly on new software
  • Must be team oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communications / presentation skills
  • A strategic thinker able to problem solve and who has a can-do attitude
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus

 

Work experience

  • 5+ years of Business Operations or similar experience required
  • Proven success in building, analyzing, and monitoring KPI, financial data, and success measures
  • CRM or database management knowledge
  • Prior experience in a venture capital environment or at a startup is a plus
