Position Overview
As People Lead, you manage our product teams and enable them to deliver world-class process intelligence products and increase customer satisfaction. You provide the teams with guidance, support, feedback and valuable insights.
In Process Intelligence, our teams are lead by dual leadership of a People Lead, with people development and leadership expertise, and a Functional Lead, with role- and practice-specific expertise. As disciplinary manager of the team members you steer and shape their professional progression. Together with the Functional Leads you map out their career development.
You closely work with a range of stakeholders such as the group’s head, the Functional Leads and other People Leads.
Moreover, you build and provide expert knowledge on people leadership, team building and professional skills. Leveraging this skillset, you impact upon our people strategy and drive corresponding initiatives. As member of our people leadership community, you contribute to the advancement of our practices
What you will do:
·Be the line manager for 1-2 empowered product teams, composed of software engineers, designers and product owners
·Ensure delivery of team’s objectives by setting up the team for success
·Take informed decisions on team health, potential and growth
·Coordinate and exchange with stakeholders on team development
·Map out career progression and identify individual growth opportunities
·Coach teams and individuals
·Build up trust and a sense of belonging
·Assess team members’ performance in their role and compensation
·Hire for all the roles on your teams, building up job market knowledge across several pipelines, and onboard new team members
·Drive people strategy and initiatives for our group
Would be great if you have:
·Experience in leading and/or managing teams
·A background in people leadership, engineering management, hr business partnering, learning & development, (agile) coaching, tech recruiting, change management or similar fields
·Experience working with or coaching technical teams nice to have
·Proactive, hands-on approach
·Passion for empathetic leadership
·Interest in people project management and data-based decision making
· A coaching mindset, e. g. through a qualification in coaching or mediation
