YOUR FUTURE ROLE 

We are looking for a Product Design and User Assistance Manager (f/m/d) who will be leading our team co-defining and designing the future of SAP Process Insights within an agile, interdisciplinary, and international environment. In this role, you’ll be part of the Product Ownership and Design team of SAP Process Insights that acts as the glue between the development and product management team as well as our customers to realize new product features and maximize customer satisfaction.

 

Your team will be working closely with Product Owners, Release Managers, and Software Engineers. As the leader of the team, your responsibilities cover people leadership including hiring, people development, and team building as well as design operations including shaping design processes, standardizing design efforts, and measuring impact.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • 10+ years of experience in User Experience Design of SaaS solutions
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing a wide range of software product design work
  • Strong understanding of design principles, requirements engineering techniques, user-centered design methods, and design processes
  • Profound knowledge in shaping UX strategy and conducting design operations
  • Experience in leading design efforts for complex B2B software solutions
  • Proven track record in shaping design processes and increasing efficiency in collaboration of Product Designers with Product Owners, User Assistance Developers, and Software Engineers
  • Understanding of SAP’s design language
  • Experience in recruiting Product Designers and User Assistance Developers
  • Background in design leadership and experience in developing young talents
  • Experience in collaborating with User Assistance Development and User Experience Writing 
  • Excellent/native collaboration and communication skills in English, written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, Media Design, Industrial Design or similar
