SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION
With the market convergence of workflow management, RPA, process analytics and collaboration solutions, business process automation is entering a new era: The age of Hyperautomation. For SAP, it is one of the most strategic areas of investment. In this role, you will be part of the team driving the product development and shaping et of SAP’s new Hyperautomation offering. As a product owner you will:

  • Work in cross-functional delivery teams (product managers, product owners, engineers, scrum masters and designers), as well as in a horizontal product chapter, spanning across individual delivery teams
  • Act as the voice of the customer in the definition of features 
  • Collaborate closely with our customer engagement and design team to understand user’s jobs to be done as well as business needs
  • Break down complex scopes into milestones and prioritize Epics, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for functional and non-functional product requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering to understand non-functional requirements and their dependencies on functional requirements
  • Take clear and informed decisions on product priorities

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent degree/ experience
  • 2+ years of experience in building and shipping software in a product role
  • Constantly seeking feedback and welcoming it as an opportunity to learn
  • You thrive on working well with others
  • Ability to oversee complex requirements and scenarios
  • Familiarity with the concepts of agile software development and scrum in practice 
  • Proficient with refining product backlogs, writing user stories and developing acceptance criteria
  • Excellent analytical skills, and data driven approach to constantly analyze and incorporate user feedback and analytics to improve the product experience
  • Strong product instinct to build great product vision and prioritize functional and
  • non-functional features to ensure highest value capture
  • Knowledge and general understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g., test driven development, continuous integration, etc.)  
  • Excellent project manager that can plan 2-3 steps ahead of the team and surface hidden risks 2-3 levels deep within the team  
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively (Office language is English)
