What you`ll do
SAP Process Automation offers a powerful, yet intuitive no-code development experience. We empower business experts to build, adapt, improve, and innovate simple business processes. You’ll work as part of the central design team and will be able to have a significant impact on the core user experience of the product.
As UX Researcher (f/m/d) you will:
- Develop standards and best practices for user research and evangelize them in the team.
- Collaborate closely with product management to understand user’s jobs to be done, as well as business needs.
- Collect and analyze user behavior through evaluative studies experiments, benchmark studies, user studies, surveys, and other appropriate methodologies
- Work collaborative and cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, and go-to-market teams to identify and prioritize research needs and scope research accordingly
- Identify and generate insights that identify longer-term opportunities, as well as improve existing functionality
- Translate research findings into actionable takeaways with short- and long-term implications
- Create simple but impactful research artifacts (e.g. personas, user journeys, scorecards, frameworks) to present your analysis and recommendations to different stakeholders
- Mentor and enable team members to conduct their own research sessions
What you bring
- 3+ years conducting research in a fast-paced product development environment; experience working at a startup or emerging product a plus
- Proven knowledge of a set of quantitative, qualitative, and user-centered design methods and solid experience running a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods
- Exceptional behavioral data-collection and analysis skills, with an understanding of trade-offs, study limitations, and cognitive biases
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences
- A solid portfolio, showcasing some of your research experiments that successfully influenced product and/or go-to-market decisions
- BA/BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Applied Statistics, Economics, Social Studies – or you hold similar qualifications
- Passionate, bold, hardworking, and excited by big challenges
- Fluent English language skills oral and written – German would be a plus
