SAP is currently seeking an Intern for the Slovak Sales team.
In this role you will support the day-to-day activities of the local sales team as a junior member (intern) in providing assistance and support for our local Channel ecosystem. It is a unique opportunity for those willing to learn and work hard to develop their skills and knowledge. You will be exposed to all the aspects of a sales & partner organization’s operations acting as a voice to drive KPI’s for the indirect sales and partner model and the top line KPIs for Sales and Net New Names.

 

What you'll do
As an Intern at SAP, you have the opportunity to make a direct impact and gain new skills and on-the-job experience while collaborating with colleagues in all lines of business around the world. 
In your day-to-day, your tasks will be:

  • Support forecasting cadence and process 
  • Deal with Account Executives, Solution Sales, Customer Representatives up to Executive Level
  • Orchestrate and be integral to the Virtual Account Team
  • Support structured demand generation leveraging creativity and new ways of selling 
  • Support sales and partner teams to expand customers with new functionalities and scope appropriate efforts related 
  • Provide input in training strategy, including assets, tools, and methodologies and related deliverables 
  • Assist to track Partner performance and resource readiness for GTM/Delivery 

 

Your activities will be supported by an experienced mentor(s) and will have a close working relationship with a number of sales colleagues. When joining the team, a learning plan and work-schedule will together with you developed and established; most of your learning will be on the job, performing actual tasks. Having received certain guidance and training, you have the opportunity to immediately apply the knowledge  by performing tasks - expanding and growing from there onwards. Overall, a hands-on mentality and personal engagement is expected working in a highly professional environment where everyone is contributing with his / her personal skills and knowledge. So, you will be expected to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the team’s overall success, not be shy to also cover certain administrative task. The position will require self-driven diligent work while also offering the space & possibility to bring in your own ideas and to enhance & shape your area of responsibility.    

You will get regular feedback on which you can learn and develop quickly. Based on your performance & accomplishments, drive and built up network you will have a chance to qualify and apply for a permanent position within SAP.

  • Active student status (Bachelor or Masters) is required during the whole internship
  • Native Slovak language skills
  • At least upper intermediate English is a must and will be tested

The sales team is responsible for selling our products and solutions - such as SAP S/4 HANA and lightning-fast business analytics. They build and maintain close relationships with customers and prospects, and they love to help companies change the way they do business.

 

Salary

Minimum expected salary is 6 EUR per hour.
