About the SAP Internship Experience Program

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.

The 4 main teams in the organization are the following
Application Innovation or AI, doing SAP Business Suite development (especially Supply Chain Management and Product Lifecycle Management);

Installed Based Maintenance and Support or IMS, doing maintenance and development support for Supply Chain Management and logistic applications such as SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer or SAP Extended Warehouse Management;

SAP Mobile Platform or SMP, developing and maintaining the iOS, Android and Windows 8 / Phone SDKs of SAP for smartphone and tablet enterprise app developers;

Globalization Services, creating localized versions of various SAP ERP applications, especially in the Human Resource Management area, for several European countries

 

What you'll do

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Software Development

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Duration: 12 months + possibility to get prolonged until the full-time, active student status condition is met

Time schedule: 24 / 30 / 32 / 40 hours per week

 

  • Being knowledgeable with one or more of the following programming languages: ABAP, JavaScript, Java, Objective-C, C#; and with development and maintenance processes
  • Participating in the team work (develop or test new software features, analyze and resolve problems reported by the customers, and provide high quality fixes)
  • Communicating with customers and other supporting teams on a global scale

 

What you bring

  • Enrolment as an active, full-time student (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science or IT 
  • Excellent programming skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Communication level of English (both written and oral)
  • Experience in software development or testing a well as with ERP systems or the mentioned programming languages would be an advantage
