Center of Expertise EMEA support our Premium Engagement customers in their digital transformation. We sustain the adoption of SAP software and ensure that our customers can successfully plan, implement, integrate and operate their software, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem solving and knowledge transfer. 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Your role involves delivery of technical and application services within customer engagements. You need very good SAP BTP skills and capabilities, and you are a decent problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment. According to your experience, strengths and customer needs, you will conduct some of the following tasks:

• Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer BTP implementation projects 
• Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients 
• Assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines 
• Design and Implement BTP solutions based on BTP technology and capabilities

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Well experienced with the generic web development stack and standard web development technologies
• Strong understanding of the BTP platform business values, technical architecture, and catalogue of services
• Development experience with one or more BTP extension technologies: Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Low-Code/No-Code platform for Citizen Development, Workflow Management
• Knowledge of databases features (HANA), and experience with SQL.
• Familiarity with platform services generally used for technical tasks, like Audit Log, HANA Cloud, Notifications, Cloud Foundry, CI/CD, SAP Business Application Studio, Transport Management, Connectivity
• Able to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines 
• Ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems 
• Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner 
• Willingness and ability to travel to customers 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German language skill is considered a plus. 

Preferred skills

• Experience in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals 
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams 

WORK EXPERIENCE

• University degree in computer science, business information technology, mathematics, physics, engineering or equivalent 
• At least 10+ years of SAP Integration Technology design and implementation experience or support experience
