PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

We are looking for talents like you to join our S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration team!

People like to own individual products - products that are specially tailored for them, products that fulfil their special needs, products that are unique. Our team’s mission is to develop a user-friendly and state-of-the-art configurator in SAP S/4HANA. This will allow customers to handle the complexity of individual products throughout their complete lifecycle (Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, After-Sales, etc.).

Development within the Advanced Variant Configuration project are takes place in multiple teams in the following locations: Hungary, Germany and India.

 

TASKS AND EXPECTATIONS

As a Senior Quality Specialist in our development team you take responsibility for the following:

  • Define, develop and deliver test automation strategy and roadmap
  • Design, implement and monitor test automates suitable for the specifics of our solutions 
  • Design and implement test automation productivity applications: test system set-up, test data deployment, test case management, test execution management
  • Run and automate performance and stress tests
  • Analyze testing metrics, propose actions and suggest process improvements
  • Proactively improve the QA strategy, plans and processes
  • Ensure that software defects are tracked and handled efficiently
  • Provide recommendations, best practices, conduct trainings and mentor team members on new testing practices

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 8 years relevant work experience, including development and test automation
  • Experience in design and implementation of continuous integration / automated quality assurance for complex software products
  • Experience in working with cross-locations and multicultural teams
  • Experienced in agile software development methodologies

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong university degree in IT, mathematics or engineering
  • Proficiency in test automation, CI/CD concepts
  • Solid coding skills in at least one OO language
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g. xUnit, Selenium, Cucumber)
  • Experience with tools required to set up CI/CD, large scale test automation infrastructure (e.g. Jenkins, Maven, Git )
  • Ability to understand, analyze and manage complex systems and infrastructure
  • Ability to own and effectively drive a complex topic in a large, multi-location development program
  • Excellent English language skills written and oral, German is a plus
  • A creative problem solver with analytical and critical mindset
