Purpose and Objective of Job:

SAP Fieldglass, headquartered in Chicago with global offices offers an engaging workplace for intelligent, hard-working, and innovative individuals. SAP Fieldglass provides a cloud-based Vendor Management System (VMS) that helps companies run effectively through streamlining procurement, management, and payment of their non-employee workforce. Expectations and Tasks of Job:

The SAP Fieldglass Functional Delivery Consultant is ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of the project and the customer-experience along the way. The Delivery Consultant will be considered a subject matter expert in the SAP Fieldglass application and will be called upon to consult on best practices in the Services Procurement Industry.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving customer behavior towards best-in-class solutions
  • Leading Fit-to-Standard and Delta Design workshops
  • Capturing configuration values from Fit-to-Standard Workshops, managing, and estimating Customer Backlog
  • Demonstrating Customer-specific solution
  • Manage configuration of the test and production environments
  • Actively contributing to product knowledge through self-study, meeting attendance, and project participation

 

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • 3+ years Consulting experience in an external customer-facing role, preferably with experience in a SaaS solution. SAP Fieldglass application knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience and/or understanding of the Managed Services Provider and/or Vendor Management industry
  • Understanding of one or more Implementation Methodology such as Agile
  • Understanding of Procurement concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and manage client expectations
  • Willingness and ability to take direction and coaching from teammates
  • Ability to learn complex concepts and subjects under a variety of conditions
  • Demonstrated detail-orientation with strong organizational skills, including the ability to self-manage time and tasks
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel 20%

 

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred
