DIGITAL SUPPLY CHAIN

The software market in the Nordics is characterized by a very dynamic market development and a highly innovative and competative market landscape. The growth of enterprise applications in the Nordics is very strong, and the digital transformation continues to be the main driver for change of current business models. Digitalization, as well as the Covid-19 pandemic, are fueling fast growth of leading-edge and E2E-integrated Supply Chain solutions, both On-Premise and Cloud, especially when it comes to the business areas like R&D/Engineering, Integrated Business Planning, Supply Chain Execution, Smart Manufacturing and Intelligent Asset Management.

 

Due to our success in the market, the Digital Supply Chain Sales team in the Nordics are now looking for a dynamic and passionate Senior Solution Sales Executive for Digital Supply Chain, who will be responsible for the sales of all SAP's Design to Operate solution to a defined territory of the most interesting key customers in Denmark. Our portfolio includes both On-Premise as well as Cloud solutions.

 

You will report to the Nordic Head of Digital Supply Chain, who is based in Malmö, Sweden. The team currently consist of 6 DSC Solution Sales Executives across the Nordics. Other relevant stakeholders in our matrix organisation are business development, presales, industry experts, value advisors, country- and regional management.

 

ROLE DESCRIPTION 

Based in our Copenhagen office, the DSC Senior Solution Sales Executive will target existing, as well as new clients and discuss strategic business initiatives on C-level, leveraging world leading SCM knowledge and solutions. The SAP value proposition is huge, as SAP is the only software company who offers solutions that covers the total value chain end-to-end, in real time! In order to succeed you will create a complete territory business plan for Denmark and execute on it together with som of the brightest SCM presales experts, as well as the best SCM solutions in the market. You must be able to work independently, influence stakeholders, leverage the SAP value proposition, conclude and close business. 

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Create a complete and powerful territory business plan containing value proposition for the identified sales plays
  • Support demand generation activities together with Marketing and Business Development 
  • Leads efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share and revenue attainment within existing and new accounts
  • Identification and qualification of opportunities to develop and drive territory business plan
  • Generation of new opportunities by proactively approaching customers
  • Qualification of the initial situation at the prospective customer and elaboration of the solution proposal with appropriate value-added arguments in co-operation with the appropriate industrial and solution specialists
  • Working with all relevant SAP stakeholders to drive pipeline development, progress and deal signing
  • Professional sales management of all opportunities and bids for assigned customer accounts and leads including forecasting the expected revenue for the assinged territory
  • Pricing and negotiating of contracts across one or many supply chain solutions
  • Achievemnet of agreed sales revenue targets in the area of SCM
  • Closely work with leading SCM partners

 

WHO ARE YOU?

  • You have a solid SCM knowledge which you can have gained from either an academic education, professional career in a consulting experience or previous software sales role
  • Experience in targeting C-level management, discussing strategic initiatives and propose solutions that leverage the SAP Value proposition 
  • Understanding of complex supply chain challenges
  • Experience from discrete manufacturing and/or process industry from Danish customers
  • Experience in selling the entire SCM portfolio is benecifial 
  • Proven track record in target achievement
  • Fluent in Danish and English and be able to make our customers feel listened to and help them with their needs. 
  • Master's or Bacherlor's degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology)
