What You’ll Do 

The Enterprise Architect provides proactive executive advisory services addressing elements of business process and technology innovation. You will provide a holistic view of digital transformation by bridging the gap between business capabilities and technology enablers to drive strategic business outcomes. As an Enterprise Architect you will work with some of the world’s most dynamic and innovative customers supporting the design, development, and deployment of future state platforms.

  • Bring passion for emerging technology capabilities necessary to extend or defend competitive differentiation.
  • Earn trusted advisor status to our internal SAP account teams tasked with helping customers purchase, adopt, consume, and expand the use of the broad portfolio of SAP solutions.
  • Be a strategic thinker, curious, engaging and collaborative with SAP customers, business partners and SAP teams.

Area 1 –GTM Planning & Strategy:

  • In partnership with your assigned Industry Vice President and PreSales Partners, develop and execute a quality and actionable plan for your respective territory
  • Provide technology design for account planning

Area 2 – Mature Opportunities in Pipeline:

  • Accelerate pipeline opportunity conversion to qualified customer engagements (F to D Conversion)
  • Develop account strategies from the technology perspective
  • Deliver industry specific customer experiences

Area 3 – Support Deal Execution:

  • Differentiate SAP technology and capabilities by industry throughout the sales cycle to increase win-rates and grow deal sizes
  • Help shape the engagement (E to B stage) by advising the sales teams to ensure the right architecture (Business, App, Data &/or Tech) design is delivered to the customer
  • Lead customer executive conversations

Area 4 – Support Customer Success Realization:

  • Support post-sale advisory and Executive Steering Committee meetings for top accounts in the plan
  • Build and nurture customer references

What you Bring:

  • Industry Knowledge – Demonstrated expertise in one or more industries such as automotive, retail, consumer goods, medical devices, fashion, agribusiness, wholesales, and distribution, or industrial manufacturing
  • Executive Presence - Strong business communication skills, comfortable presenting to C-level executives, ability to clearly articulate product strategy in a succinct fashion.
  • Accomplished Leader – Ability to develop a vision, collaborate with other team members and drive the completion of work efforts.
  • SAP Solution Expert – Extensive knowledge of the SAP solution portfolio and its application within the end-to-end business capabilities.
  • Technical Prowess – Strength/expertise surrounding the SAP technology stack and the ability to incorporate hyper-scaler reference architecture, integration techniques and 3rd party products.
  • Solution Lifecycle Experience – Ideally managed a complex SAP solution landscape implementation at an SAP customer.
  • Cloud Architecture Competence – Strong working knowledge of SaaS and IaaS design, deployment and implementation of cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.
  • Lifelong Learner – Passion for self-development to gain in-depth understanding of the SAP solution portfolio, industry trends, executive presence, and architectural guidelines.
  • SAP Community Involvement – Passion for sharing with your peers and customers via knowledge sharing (industry specific events, user groups, SAP insider, TechEd, SAPPHIRE).


  • Experience in building and retaining strong customer relationships
  • Experience in diverse technology landscapes and process/technology integration issues
  • Solution selling acumen – ability to differentiate in complex sales
  • Located in Midwest
  • Passion for how technology can be used to enable strategic initiatives.
  • Minimum 8-10 years in a relevant strategic consulting, advisory or customer role
