Position Purpose:

The purpose of the Digital Demand Executive (DDE) team is to impact the GB Cloud revenue by generating incremental world class cloud pipeline.

 

Your role as the DDE Manager would be to Inspire, drive and coach, a team of up to 12 DDE’s.

The team targets are defined based on the won and booked business from the DDE sourced opportunities and the volume of incremental pipeline generate (outbound opportunities).

 

You´ll be responsible to hire train and develop talents from the best universities and promote internally the resources to other organizations after an average 24 months period. So that you are responsible for an important part of the company talent flow.

Creative digital leader, you contribute to have the team infusing innovation in their daily activities to positively influence customers, partners and sales organization

 

Our organization growth in FY19 has been significant leveraging a structured approach collaborating with the Demand Manager organization to identify the NNN and dormant accounts prospects with the highest propensity to buy.

 

The job requires analytical skills to be able to transform data into sales leveraging the company tools.


You must also have the proven ability to influence and learn from a comprehensive network of stakeholders including the Demand management/campaign planner, Partner Channel, Marketing, Presales, AE’s and Sales Managers.

 

You will also have to be an expert in social and digital tools and be curious about new tools that the team could leverage to engage with prospects.

 

To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about managing a team of young talent, be highly interested in Demand Generation. This is a demanding and highly rewarding role that will suit a bold, empathetic and dynamic leader.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Attract, hire, train and manage a team of Digital Demand Executives whose role consists of lead qualification, pipeline nurturing and proactive digital customer engagement.
  • Coach and develop DDE into sales-ready candidates within 2-years of their DDE tenure.
  • Collaborate closely with MU Demand Planner and Sales Managers to define priorities and define strong DG strategies throughout the year to ensure successful pipeline creation and conversion.
  • Performance Manage the team ensuring a high standard of energy, activity and results are maintained.
  • Forecast quarterly results and report on the progress regularly to the EMEA North DDE Director.
  • Create a culture of belonging for the DDE’s, ensuring they find enjoyment in what they do. Have experience celebrating wins, keeping the approach fresh and inspiring your direct reports to go above and beyond.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with Key Stakeholders in the Market Unit (UKI), the region (EMEA North) and Globally.
  • Weekly communications to your Market Unit and hosting team meetings with the DDE’s and 121’s via SAP Talk
  • Set SMART Goals on Success Maps and ensure that each SAP Talk is ensuring the progress of each goal
  • Compensation reviews bi-annually with the DDE’s.
  • Assigning the right DDE’s to the right territories and Quota-Carriers
  • Work closely with Demand Planners and Marketing on defining campaign follow-up and reporting V forecast
  • Work closely with Operations to make recommendations on process improvement. Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Several years of software business development and/or sales experience, preferably Enterprise Applications
  • Track record of success in Demand Generation
  • Ideally, people management experience. In absence of that, evidence of coaching others and demonstrating a strong motivation to step-up into a management role
  • Consistent proven track record of achievement of quota expectations
  • Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Experience working in a high-growth environment
  • Proven ability to adapt to ambiguous situations and lead by example
  • Proven ability to make strategic decisions autonomously
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, MBA/Master's degree or equivalent preferred
