  2. Project-driven experience: gain cross-functional skills from our virtual and in-person learning sessions, diverse subject matter experts, and project deliverables.
  3. Gain visibility: with SAP Internship Experience Program in your title, you’ll have a global network of SAP leaders, entrepreneurs and career development opportunities at your fingertips.

About the team

The People & Operations Board area brings together all of the company’s people and operations functions, led by SAP’s first Chief People and Operating Officer. Our shared goal is to drive and further accelerate SAP’s transformation to the cloud by bringing together what creates the essential fabric of our company’s successful transformation: our people agenda, our systems, and processes as well as our capabilities to enable insights, innovation, and change both for SAP internally and for our customers.

The Office of the COO in the People & Operations organization is responsible for supporting the overall steering of the Board area and serves a cross-Board rea COO Community & Governance function. Governance requires a holistic framework on which to operate, and therefore a new cross-company function for corporate taxonomy was created as the Corporate Taxonomy Office. Leading the effort is the new role of Chief Corporate Taxonomist who is responsible for building world-class, intuitive, and comprehensive corporate taxonomy and ontology structures to optimize the organization and classification of SAP entities for internal and external use.
