Purpose and Objectives

IE BS Sales Solutions is responsible for the End-to-End solution delivery supporting SAP’s core Sales Deal Execution business processes. Here we act as the Business’ trusted advisor and expert, driving together the simplification of business processes based on a user-centric approach. Do you enjoy working on meaningful projects? You will design and implement solutions for sales processes using SAP's latest Cloud- and Platform technologies that boost SAP's sales and revenue. SAP's account executives are your main persona and customer. Your work has a direct impact to SAP’s top line growth.

Expectations and Tasks

• Develop solution architecture for Harmony Quote, the primary SAP deal execution software
• Responsible for software architectural design, development, and refactoring across multiple agile teams. 
• As a Solution Architect, act as thought leader for other team members
• Drive continuous improvements with focus on quality, stability, usability, maintainability
• Applying DevOps mindset to take operational responsibility for the provided solutions 
• Establish a trusted partnership with our internal business and technical counterparts and act as “ONE TEAM” from delivery to operation
• Become proficient with business processes implemented in the solution and look for opportunities to simplify 

Education and Qualification / Skills and Competencies

Must Have:

• Academic degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• DevOps mindset and skills, to build end user focused, high-quality solutions
• Ability to demonstrate excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles
• Professional experience building solutions for sales business process and corporate value chain (including deal execution, order management, billing, invoicing and provisioning)
• Proficiency  in multiple SAP products including SAP CRM
• Experience in Cloud native applications
• Full stack development experience preferably with SAP technologies like SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes), SAP CAP, SAP UI5, SAP Cloud Integration, Database design and corresponding software development tools and methodologies
• Deep knowledge of integration technologies
• Hands-on experience with SAP CPQ is a must
• Competence  in SAP / IT Product Standards (Security protocols) performance profiling and tuning, Foundational experience on Observability (e.g. splunk, ElasticSearch, Grafana)
• Experience in executing innovative projects with cloud and microservices architectures 
• Deep understanding of CI/CD and DevOps industry standards and best practices
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain, persuade and justify decisions and concepts to people at all levels
• Proven previous hands-on experience in technical roles
• Well established network across the Tech Industry, for example, speaking at conferences or contributing to open-source projects. 
• Experience with multiple software delivery frameworks in commercial environment including Agile
• Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture standards such as TOGAF
• Ability to work in an international, virtual team and act as “team player”
• Ability to guide and motivate technical teams
• Fluency in English as SAP global communication language

Nice to Have:

• Experience in SAP ERP and SAP HANA Database
• Experience with SAFe agile execution models
• Experience in applying AI/ML technology to business processes

Work experience

We are looking for at least 12-15 years of professional work experience in software development with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect. 
 

We work remotely and flex work office/remote is also possible.
