What you'll do:
As an IT DevOps Senior Consultant (f/m/d) on our team, you will shape and define the way DevOps is understood and practiced by the IT organization. You will closely collaborate with the organization's teams and managers to help them learn and adopt necessary knowledge and skills and take decisions in their transformation journey towards more agility and DevOps.
Concretely, you will
- Elaborate DevOps team composition and collaboration models, role descriptions, process descriptions and recommend appropriate practices for DevOps
- Lead or participate in workshops to align, review and maintain common standards, roles, tools and terminology for DevOps across the organization
- Advise and coach teams and their managers on implementing DevOps practices and deployment pipelines
- Review development value streams and apply value stream mapping to identify improvement opportunities
- Review and curate training and learning content for DevOps practices
- Present changes and report newly adopted concepts or definitions to management stakeholders
What you bring:
- A University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Industrial Engineering. A focus on process improvement or project management would be of advantage.
- Deep knowledge and experience with DevOps, Continuous Delivery and deployment pipelines
- Knowledge of and experience with agile methodologies and practices
- Knowledge of DevOps Team Topologies
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
- Open mindset, the passion to work with people, and a positive can-do-attitude
- Fluent English Language
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a technical role, such as software development, quality assurance, or infrastructure would be beneficial
