The Role

As Product Owner (f/m/d) you will be part of a new remote connectivity team we are going to establish in Gliwice, Poland. As the Product Owner for our development team you will be responsible for the product development of the new customer facing SAP Remote Support Infrastructure application, APIs, network connectivity tools and utilities.
 

General Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Chief Product Owner and all stakeholders to drive and execute the customer requirements in our product
  • Drive product improvements, innovation and simplification with high level of quality, reliability, efficiency and on time delivery
  • Understand the needs of our customers / stakeholders and transform them into innovative concepts and backlog items for our product
  • Manage the list of backlog items and prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives
  • Govern the development process and evaluate the progress of the product in each sprint cycle
  • Constantly listen to customers and consult stakeholders as domain experts for product improvements and enhancements  

 

Role Requirements

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in agile software development

• Profound knowledge and working experience in agile developing methodologies
• Good knowledge of development processes, product standards and tools 

• Knowledge in network programming and TCP based protocols

• Good communication skills

• Fluent in English on a professional level is mandatory

In the Customer Experience Group (CX) of the Intelligent Enterprise Solution (IES) organization, we drive and run superior experience across all SAP’s customer-facing IT solutions.

One component to support SAP transforming to the Intelligent Enterprise is the next generation remote support framework. The goal of this project is to provide a platform for all Lines of Businesses at SAP to utilize a modern, reliable and simplified infrastructure to access our customers heterogenous solutions remotely in a secure and controlled way at all times considering legal, internal and country specific compliances and regulations. #gliwiceglobal
