Seeking conscientious individual who has a strong desire to learn and contribute in a fast paced, growing environment.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Exposure to or basic knowledge of various technologies used by security, development, and operations
  • Documents and executes automation activities regarding monitoring, availability, and vulnerability management.
  • Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all process listed in the relevant process maps. Follow standards and procedures.
  • Troubleshoots information systems accessibility, availability or operability problems to identify and mitigate errors or deficiencies and develop solutions. Basic problem solving skills.
  • Ensures that appropriate information security is applied in all tasks.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with colleagues and other functional teams. Good oral and written communication skills in English. Escalates/communicates issues when necessary.
  • A team player and ability to work independently
  • Exposure to Linux operating system
  • Exposure to Splunk or similar logsearch tool
  • Exposure to any Intrusion defense system (IDS) // intrusion prevention system (IPS) tool.
  • Basic knowledge of encryption protocols and processes.
  • Basic understanding of role-based access controls.
  • Basic knowledge of AWS Technologies
  • Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., firewall, OSI model)
  • Understanding of virtualization concepts
  • Exposure to scripting language, such as Bash or Powershell
  • Exposure to Continuous Integration and/or Configuration Management tools (e.g, Ansible, Jenkins)

 

Education Requirements

  • Information Systems, Computer Science or other related field working towards a college degree or a recent college graduate
