Senior DevOps Engineer

To strengthen further our team, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Cloud operations to help us to perform below items, but not limited to:
- Designing and deploying robust infrastructure solutions to support SAP products and services.
- Ensure that the infrastructure needs are met and aligned with business objectives.
- Automation deployment of cloud resources to enhance the processes and procedures efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and product management teams as well as other service groups to deliver scalable applications that meet the customer demand.
- Partner with relevant teams to leverage usage information, such as incidents and problems, in the development of new product releases.
- Support knowledge management in the team and between operations and development.
Experience (Role Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 - 8+ years of Software engineering / DevOps experience
- Extensive experience of SAP BTP – Kyma to deploy enterprise-grade cloud-native applications.
- Extensive experience using helm charts for packaging, configuring and deploying applications.
- Extensive knowledge of Hyperspace to enable teams to efficiently build and run their CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for cloud products.
- Extensive experience using the Piper library for running pipelines and deployments.
- Good knowledge of integrating the Piper library with security libraries such as Fortify, Sonar, Whitesource (Mend.io) and CheckMarx.
- Experience using Vault to store pipeline credentials in a secure location.
- Software development experience building enterprise-grade applications.
- Good experience in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, SAP CAP framework and Hana database.
- Experience building strong relationships with development and quality assurance team.
- Collect and analyze logs and troubleshoot errors from build runs, escalating to development team members.
- Good knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace and Elastic Search for log collection and troubleshooting errors.
- Good knowledge of Ariba nextGen architecture and components such as Apache Kafka and Temporal.io framework is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Ariba Network development cycle in and nextGen AN is a plus.
- Extensive experience working on an agile methodology and working knowledge of Jira.
- Good experience with Ariba Network portfolio and Ariba Procurement Application product
- Knowledge of AN SCC, AN Payment, Discovery, Network ETSC, App Sourcing, CIG is a plus
- Great knowledge of AWS, GCP and AZURE infrastructure.
- Excellent troubleshooting skillset and meet customer defect SLA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 129800 - 220900(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
