PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The Senior HR Compensation Analyst is an experienced HR consultant to senior managers in a business with a moderate level of complexity on strategic people and organization-related topics.  This position is responsible for consulting on HR processes and programs, contributing independently on large, complex topics and taking on sole responsibility, including prioritization, to deliver outcomes on assigned topics & small-scale projects.  The Senior HR Compensation Analyst builds and maintains partnerships with customers, contributes to progressive approaches & discussions, communicates clearly, including processes & policies in a way that others can understand.  Problems of broad scope or high risk are escalated to managers as appropriate. Judgment and discretion must be exercised in interpreting and communicating technological, legal or specialized guidelines.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

Support HR Director in annual salary and review process

Support compensation plan execution, monitoring and planning including the rollout of compensation plans

Work with Finance to obtain monthly and quarterly attainment for bonus calculations

Respond timely to employee/management requests as well as accurately

Data analysis and application

Strong Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables

Strong Powerpoint skills

Partner with Total Rewards counterpart

Support all HR activities, processes and programs

Promote a winning attitude at all times and in all that you do

Build collaborative work relationships with similar functions across SAP

Communicate clearly, in a way that others can understand within defined processes & policies

Create an environment that engages employees and encourages diversity in thought and style

Strong competence with various job-relevant tools & processes to accomplish the job

Travel expected 20%

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

5-8 years relevant professional experience in compensation analysis

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES:

4-year Bachelor’s degree preferred, applicable certification, or comparable experience
