The SSEM drives specific Innovation service offerings that enable customers to realize the vision of the Intelligent Enterprise and embrace the promise of the experience economy and next generation technologies.   They help our top enterprise customers efficiently operate and optimize their SAP investments. They work closely within the SAP ecosystem and SAP's various services organizations, customers, and partners to ensure the overall success of the implementation of SAP solutions. 

Candidate is expected to be a significant contributor to the overall success of the customer relationship.

  • Provide leadership and drives the execution of growth plans across their target market.  Develop innovative campaigns in areas such as Data Analytics, Machine Learning, IoT, Data Science, Customer Experience and transformative technologies.
  • Drives syndication of best practice programs, tools, methods and processes to accelerate profitable performance.
  • Identifies, evaluates and executes on investment opportunities.

  • Implement business strategies to ensure customer success driving revenue targets for software and software related services.
  • Participate in a team-selling environment working with one or more Account Executives (AEs) and/or Services Account Manager (SAMs) and GAD’s on assigned accounts

Build strong internal relationships with license sales, alliance partners, services delivery, product management, and other groups in the spirit of the SAP Building Bridges behavior; Embrace SAP’s purpose-driven culture to help the world run better and improve people’s lives; Maintain situational awareness of SAP marketing and brand identity campaigns; Be prepared to interact with and present to 'C' level executives at SAP Customers.

  • Develops Go to market strategy and territory and account plans - leveraging all assets available (e.g. lines of service, marketing events, delivery resources) that represent pipeline growth and business opportunities.

Become an expert in the customer decision making process and develop relationships with key decision makers, nurture champions and coaches, and progress a deal through sales cycle.

Facilitate customer discovery and implementation scoping sessions to define requirements for input into Innovation Projects.

  • Maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction to develop referenceable clients



Functional Experience

  • 2-3 plus years direct quota carrying selling experience in the enterprise software and services industry or similar solution or Utilities industry content. 

Industry experience is preferred (Energy, Consumer Products, Manufacturing or Retail).

  • Experience in achieving and exceeding quota and/or P&L responsibility for candidates with selling experience.
  • Value selling and solution selling experience and training. Intimate knowledge of enterprise software projects and the overall lifecycle management of enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of SAPs Partners, Competitors and the regional IT Industry

  • Bachelor or Masters' Degree
  • English: Fluent


Location: This position can be based in any major city in the South though Houston, Atlanta or Dallas are preferred.
