Purpose and Objective:  
SAP America Inc. seeks a Services Sales Senior Manager at our Houston, TX  location and various client sites nationwide responsible for executing and driving growth within a designated Territory or Accounts assigned to members of his/her team.


Expectations and Tasks: 
Achieve or exceed targets (order entry, revenue, and profitability). Be a Trusted Advisor and "Talk Business". Deal with LOB, Executive Level stakeholders/buying centers internally and externally. Establish and maintain powerful long-term relationships. Facilitate alignment between services and license for effective Account Planning and Strategy. Lead the sale of the complete portfolio and/or specific specialized portfolio areas (e.g. CD, P&E, BA, etc.). Achieve Vision (Drive Innovation). P/L responsibility for all consulting projects in the relevant customers (for those regions where this is applicable). Drive the sale of Profitable projects. Sponsorship of projects. Effective management of the relevant partners. Drive Pipeline. Demand Generation. 30% travel to various client sites nationwide.


Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field of study and 10 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 8 years of experience.


Work Experience: 
Experience must involve 5 years in the following: Industry Thought Leadership; Oil and Gas & Chemical Industry experience for both the Upstream and Downstream Industries; Services & Sales Coaching and Mentoring (Influence); People & Delivery Management; SAP Oil and Gas Best Practices/Model Company; SAP IS-Oil Industry Solution; SAP Hydrocarbon Supply Chain (TSW); SAP Production and Revenue Accounting (PRA) and Joint Venture Accounting; Ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve the issue through configuration of the SAP system; Ability to understand customer's business processes and map those requirements to SAP Best Practices to ensure standard functionality is used to meet the customer's requirements; SAP Project Methodologies (Activate, Agile, Solution Manager, etc.); Communicate across the project team to both business users and technical team members; Escalation Management; and leadership skills and ability to run customer workshops. 30% travel to various client sites nationwide.
