Director / Value Advisor Experts are a part of APJ Digital Transformation Organization (DTO), They are responsible for helping companies digitally transform their organizations by collaboratively developing justifications for technology investment decisions by aligning solutions and business outcomes to strategic imperatives, building business cases, and developing value roadmaps. This includes engaging with CXO and business owners, understanding objectives and KPIs, ROI analysis, and building out a compelling roadmap for business transformation. Successful Value Advisors provide industry thought leadership, strategic solution advice and expert consultation to support customer co-innovation, and business process performance improvement programs.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with field sales teams to identify revenue opportunities, create account strategies, and execute sales plays.
  • Engaging with CXOs, positioning and structuring and engagement for Digital Transformation.
  • Leading customer engagements to assess strategic objectives, map out innovation scenarios, identify key improvement opportunities and other sources of economic value, and present board-level justification for change including business cases.
  • Collaborating with customers to establish value management practices which includes regularly benchmarking for best practices and measuring realized value.
  • Pro-actively drive collaboration across the organization with sales, and members of DTO, such as pre-sales, solution engineers, industry business architects, and more.
  • Continually develop the practice of value advisory through enhancement of methodology, toolsets, and practices
  • Development of SAP's brand through thought leadership delivered through social media and events.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in investment banking, operations or management consulting focused across industries such as energy & resources, manufacturing, services, consumer, retail, or banking.
  • Exemplary corporate strategy and financial analysis research and authoring skills with a strong emphasis on synthesis and simply representing complex scenarios.
  • Group management and facilitation skills, Design Thinking or similar methods a strong plus.
  • Fluency in any foreign language is an asset.
  • MBA or equivalent degree required from a top University.
