CE&X Success Centers - Enablement & Release Readiness Advisor

JOB OVERVIEW:

The CE&X Enablement and Readiness Success Center is seeking an Enablement & Release Readiness Advisor to be part of a dynamic cross-disciplinary team that is focused on managing readiness programs and preparing internal stakeholders and customers for new product releases.

We are looking for a proactive and responsive person who thrives in a challenging environment while working with teams around the globe. In this role, it is crucial to possess excellent communication and leadership skills to work well with cross-functional teams. Your main responsibilities will be focused on managing several key programs aimed at successful release of new features to customers, orchestrating training content enablement, driving preparation of technical documentation.

As an Enablement & Release Readiness Advisor you will be responsible for a range of overarching responsibilities. You will require organizational talent to plan, develop, support, and monitor programs within the Enablement and Readiness Success Center in line with the strategic direction and initiatives of the CE&X organization. This will include defining effective strategies, planning, and coordinating the program activities, driving execution of the key projects, reporting status updates, delivering short-, medium-, and Long-terms goals of the programs, presenting the results within teams and to the senior leaders.

 

PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES

 

The mission of the Enablement and Readiness Success Center is to develop and implement effective modern learning experiences for internal SAP employees and external customers. We facilitate virtual training on technology, tools, processes, standards, and best practices in order to meet the business needs of our internal and external stakeholders. Our team is focused on developing, enabling, and implementing programs aimed at upskilling modern professionals through establishing seamless and easily accessible learning experiences.

 

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

 

  • Define and lead program and project planning activities aimed at enablement and release readiness, act as a central point of contact for all programs and projects related queries
  • Build, coordinate, and support programs, initiate and execute projects in accordance with the CE&X strategic directives and goals
  • Properly set up and manage expectations, define roles and responsibilities for the teams during program execution
  • Develop and maintain control over the program through establishing processes, standards, procedures, and governance models
  • Monitor progress and establish reporting practices to ensure that milestones and deadlines are met across various projects within the overarching program
  • Evaluate data sources, create and maintain the system of tracking data (e.g. Smartsheet dashboards visualization)
  • Manage risks and solve issues that may arise over the program lifecycle, take appropriate measures to correct them
  • Work in cooperation with cross-functional teams, utilize available resources, drive stakeholders’ support and involvement of cross-functional teams across various projects and programs
  • Create and nurture a trustful environment to allow all project team members thrive and bring their best values, coach and mentor the team members on best practices
  • Analyze needs, define gaps, discover development opportunities, and suggest improvements for the stakeholders’ learning experience, training content enablement, product feature release documentation, support and consulting performance, and delivery methods
  • Establish communication channels to share status updates, report on progress and overall health of the programs
  • Contribute to the CE&X team’s success by providing strategic feedback, sharing insights and improvement recommendations, suggesting solutions to leadership
  • Prepare and facilitate clear and concise presentations on project and program related topics for top management executive leaders

 

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4+ years of corporate experience
  • Background in corporate learning and development
  • Program and project management experience, organizational skills
  • Quality assurance and processes improvement skills
  • Experience with Customer Support Organizations
  • General understanding of the SAP products and our customers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to adjust communication to specific audiences
  • Strong learning skills, ability to adapt to new technologies and principles
  • Hands-on mentality and customer focus
  • Significant personal initiative, “can do” attitude and professional drive
  • Flexibility, creativity, enthusiasm, open-minded and positive, team- and customer-oriented approach
  • Ability to establish executive presence in front of internal and external leaders (comfortable partnering with managers and senior leaders to drive program and project execution)
  • Ability to build great internal relationships throughout the organization
  • Ability to create momentum and work well cross-functionally with other teams
  • Ability to influence others without formal authority, recruit talents and organize teamwork across all departments
  • Ability to build and drive ownership and accountability
  • Onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and training delivery skills
