PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Leading with SAP’s Digital Business Services’ strategy we in Premium Engagements (PE) aspire as strategic advisors to bring the very best of SAP services to all our customers.  We lead with market making SAP innovations and premium services as we carry out every customer promise and as we produce excellent financial performances. The success of Digital Business Services relies on Premium Engagements (PE) for all our top Customers because it is with these services that customers will experience the full breadth of our capability as well as all the advantages of our expertise.  

 

The purpose of the Premium Engagements UKI Services and Support Manager is to lead a vertical business within the market unit. This critical role will require you to develop the future shape of your business, lead your team, build bridges and collaborate closely with the Professional Services (Consulting) and Sales organisations and be responsible for driving your business unit’s revenue growth enhancing the P&L. Further responsibilities will see you creating development opportunities and stimulating engagements for your team, seeking new and innovative ways to improve customer satisfaction and successfully positioning the adoption of the new PE Portfolio including the new MaxAttention and Active Attention services. For this role, we are looking for a leader who will take responsibility for the Financial Services and Retail vertical business unit within PE UKI. You will report directly to the Head of Premium Engagement UKI and you will be part of his UKI Leadership Team.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Proven record as business manager, proven record of excellent performance
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Highly customer focused with C-level experience
  • Experience with business transformation
  • Excellent team worker
  • Pragmatic and results oriented
  • Solid knowledge of the Finance and / or Retail industries
  • Good knowledge about service organizations, IT systems and processes
  • Good knowledge about SAP service offerings, in particular Premium offerings
  • Leadership Experience in managing intercultural groups, people and/or organizations
  • Ideally holds master’s degree in related field (business administration, science, information technology)

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The Premium Engagements UKI Services and Support Manager will run and be accountable for the PE UKI Finance and Retail business unit:

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from the Professional Service (PS) and PE Sales teams
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Develop long term relationships with customers and act as management sponsor for a number of key accounts
  • Implement the PE EMEA North strategy within your business unit (Own PE, Deliver on Promise, Extend PE, Value for Value, Grow PE)
  • Develop and transform your business unit into a high-performance organization
  • Accelerate the adoption of the New MaxAttention and Active Attention
  • Have the following Key Performance Indicators:
  • Accurate Forecast & P&L Management
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Employee Engagement
  • Create transparency and predictability around the PE business
  • People Management
  • Driving forward SAP innovations
