About the Team
As a Business Operations student (f/m/d) in the global Commerce organization, you will join the Commerce Cloud Operations Office, based in Munich, which provides services to our internal and external customers. These teams are based in Poland, Germany, Canada, England, and the US offering a diverse, global working environment.
Our scope and responsibilities’ touch on a variety of operational and strategical topics within the Commerce org. These range from product metrics analysis, supplier, customer & partner management, employee satisfaction & development, plus a variety of ad-hoc operational topics to support the organization.

 

The role
In this role, you will support and lead initiatives (from ideation to execution) that address business operational issues by researching and evaluating new measures or strategies to reduce waste and improve operational effectiveness.
You will specifically influence change across the product organization by:

  • Supporting the ops lead to ensure commitments are executed on time and milestones are accomplished. 
  • Perform data analysis on product metrics generating dashboard and regular reporting. 
  • Be ready to work on data collection & validation by interacting with other teams & departments. 
  • Support on organizational and team structure-related topics.
  • Perform analysis to track activity recording, portfolio, and investment tracking. You work directly with managers and employee to ensure they are enabled. 
  • Supporting the report creation of business outcomes for some of our internal and external initiatives.
  • Planning, working with stakeholders and colleagues; executing, and communicating internal/external customers of the global initiatives to improve employee satisfaction/retention as well as enabling operational excellence. 
  • Support our Munich-based in Team in ad-hoc project/operational ad-hoc requests.


Role requirements
We are looking for university students (f/m/d) who have a great skillset in advanced Excel, Power Query and/or Power BI to mine data, derive insights and enrich our existing dashboards. 
Having experience in a software/IT environment is highly desired  
Good knowledge of lean processes and agile frameworks is a plus. 
You should also have/be: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • The ability to think creatively and disrupt the status quo

  • A global mindset, inclusive to world cultures
  • Great people and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Remote-ready: due to the circumstances your on-boarding and first weeks/months will be fully online

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
