What you'll do

An SAP S/4 HANA  Engineer will manage the SAP S/4 HANA daily operations of our SAP ecosystem. The individual must have strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and databases. Additional responsibilities include managing periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades.

•Experience in the design and implementation of SAP S4 HANA systems 
•Strong knowledge of multi-system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies (Global focus desired), in the areas of build and support for ECC, CRM, PI, EP, BW, and HANA.
•Design, implement, monitor, and optimize SAP landscapes and dependent technologies. Monitors and tunes system performance and workload. Manage and performs system refreshes; participates in the scheduling of refreshes as requested.
•Hands on SAP BASIS experience


What you bring

A minimum of 4 years of SAP experience with at least two years focused on SAP S/4 HANA
•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field 
•Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to create and sustain meaningful client relationships. 
•System landscape design and management experience in operations and project scenarios 
•Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule 
•Involved in planning and testing of the DR 
•Deep understanding of SAP best practices on Backup and Recovery 
•Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
•Implementation, upgrade and support of the latest SAP systems versions, running on Windows/Linux OS and HANA/Sybase/Oracle/SQL Server

•Expertise in Handling S/4 HANA system performance issues. Hands-on expertise mandatory

•Troubleshooting Memory, CPU and Storage bottlenecks

•SAP HANA architecture and Key performance indictors

•HA and DR setup and configuration

•Linux hands-on expertise and trouble shooting

•Hyperscalers such as Azure , AWS and GCP Platform and their respective architecture


Must be an Australian Citizen as the position will be required to successfully achieve and maintain a security clearance, as issued by the Australian Government Security and Vetting Agency (AGSVA) to at least an NV1 (Negative Vetting 1) / Secret level. You can go to AGSVA website to review the Vetting Assessment Process you may need to go through and documents you may need to provide for the Australia Government Security Clearance.​



Please Note: SAP has implemented temporary changes to SAP’s internal transfer policy applicable to transfer offers made on or after August 1, 2022 and effective globally within SAP except in the following countries, where the new compensation is still effective as of the transfer date: Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic due Workers Council agreements or country laws. The policy change provides that if transfer offer includes a change in compensation, such change will be effective as of January 1, 2023 without retroactive application, regardless of the transfer start date. The successful candidate will continue to receive their current compensation until December 31,2022 assuming they remain in the role, and will remain eligible for the 2023 annual salary review in its ordinary timing.
