What you’ll do

Position title:

Partner Demand Acceleration Workshops Intern | Global Ecosystem and Midmarket Marketing

 

 

In this role, you’ll:

Purpose & Objective of Position

The Global Partner Demand Acceleration Workshops intern will support the organization’s development, planning, promotion of SAP‘s Partner Demand Acceleration Programs with a particular focus on the planning and delivery of SAP’s portfolio of SAP Partner Marketing Excellence Workshops, SAP Funnel Mastery Partner Growth Programs and Partner Marketing training course development.

The candidate must have strong verbal communication and writing skills, ideally some project management experience and comfortable in communicating with executives. This person must be a self-starter with a desire and commitment to on-time delivery of key programs.

This is a highly collaborative, exciting, fast paced hands on role within SAP Global Marketing where you will be collaborating with an Australian based SAP Global Marketing Director and multiple colleagues on the team and Stakeholders who are located in multiple geographic locations around the World. Therefore, on occasion you will be required to participate in Conference Calls and Webinars outside of normal office hours.

Amplify partner Communications to drive awareness of our Programs

  • Work with your local Manager, Global Colleagues, Regional Stakeholders and the SAP Partneredge PR team to support social amplification of our Partner Marketing empowerment programs across SAP social channels, including content creation and submission to SAP social channels

 

Support planning and real time delivery of Partner Marketing Training Workshops and Webinars

  • This is where your project Management experience will kick in. The work is not complicated or highly technical, but does require diligent focus on managing key logistical deliverables in the run up to each event combined with back end support with polling and reporting tools, (training will be provided)

 

Support quarterly reporting

  • Support quarterly reporting for leadership including tracking of partner participation in our programs and impact measurement.
     
  • Promotional and On-Demand Video production leveraging easy to use SAP or 3rd party tools eg Camtasia (access to on the job training will be provided)
    • Support scripting and production of short promotional videos
      • Partner testimonial interviews, Workshop promos etc
    • Work with the Global SAP PartnerEdge team to integrate into Partner Communications eg Newletters etc

Light video editing (if no experience, can train on the job

The candidate must have:

  • Good communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
  • Detail oriented, works well independently and cross- functionally
  • Functional skills in Microsoft Power Point, Excel and TEAMS
  • Ability to understand requirements, seek out answers, drill into details, and resolve issues
  • Good listening skills, ability to pull out and summarize information
  • Must be a team player and demonstrated high performer and willingness to take initiative
  • Good problem solver with high degree of self-initiative

 

Educational Requirements

Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters, MBA or PhD degree program which is applicable to the position. Seeking degrees in Liberal Arts, Marketing, General Business or Communications. Limited commensurate experience in marketing positions a plus
 

 

Location: Dependant on Victoria’s Health regulations, you will either work from your home and/or at SAP’s Melbourne offices at 564 St Kilda Road, 22nd Floor | Melbourne, Victoria 3004, Australia

Expected start date to end date: Mid to late October, 2021– April, 2022
