ABOUT THE TEAM


Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area and consists of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS). As private cloud managed services provider, HEC Delivery is offering a key aspect in the intelligent business transformation journey of our customers and by joining forces with CAS, we enter a new era of end-to-end service experience for our customers.

 

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES


Nestlé has setup a transformation program called Journey to Cloud (J2C). A cornerstone of this transformation is to consume the entire SAP landscape as SaaS provided by SAP. In order to provide the right level of service, it has been decided to build a new team within ECS. The ECS Nestlé Client Delivery Management will provide an E2E service by combining HEC and CAS portfolio and will work dedicated for Nestlé and will operate the entire Nestlé SAP landscape with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest HANA-based systems (e.g. 2x24TB ERP scale-out). The Nestlé CDM team will work on building the services according to Nestlé needs, it will bring those services into daily operations as well as work on continuous improvement and automation of those services.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK 

 

  • Work (7x8) may include weekends or public holidays as required by the prohect
  • Deliver 1st and 2nd level support consulting services
  • Be in direct contact with the customer via phone, email or ticketing system
  • Be responsible for service and support of SAP Cloud powered by HANA Customer Landscapes
  • Operate SAP technology-based system landscapes to achieve ambitious SLA requirements
  • Work in alignment with the company procedures to ensure an efficient and quality service
  • Be responsible for proper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes
  • Create and implement change request documentation

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree Student in Computer or Electronics & Communication Engineering / Computer science / Information Technology systems/ Computer applications / IT Business Systems
  • Certification in SAP BASIS is an advantage (if not, should be able to complete the certification)
  • Knowledge of enterprise-level applications and understanding of Global Delivery model

Technical Skills

  • Previous relevant experience in Support Engineer, Database Administrator or BASIS consultant role
  • SAP BASIS – Strong Knowledge and Hands on experience of Technical Planning, Installations, Upgrades, Maintenance etc.,
  • Technically fluent in Databases (Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/MaxDB/Sybase/HANA) administration, Operating Systems (Unix/Windows/Linux), hardware technologies (IBM, HP, Intel)
  • Experience in Performance tuning, Technical reviews and Audits
  • Knowledge of High Availability/Disaster Recovery Strategy
  • Knowledge of SAP Technologies; e.g. SAP Netweaver or HANA based systems, Solution Manager; BusinessObjects, BusinessObjects Data Services

  • Good team player and ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams

Work Experience

 

At least 2 – 5 years working experience in similar roles
