About the team

The HXM Marketing team is a driven and dynamic global team. The leadership team is concentrated in North America, on the east coast, but embrace diverse, global perspectives as input to our marketing priorities, initiatives, and planning. The team is predominantly virtual. 

What you’ll do:
Position title: Intern – Marketing Strategy, Digital
Location: Virtual
Internship Duration: Start date of October 2021 up to April 2023 Expected to work 30 hours per week

In this role, you’ll:
Digital Strategy

  • Digital Marketing is the way of the future. As much as teams were focused on websites and search and digital capabilities before what the pandemic has shown us is that there is no substitute for this being the direction, we must drive in. This role is critical to bring these digital functions together contributing to a cohesive and collective strategy.
  • Strategize and execute on core enhancements to always on digital presence (web, SEO and Paid strategies, asset consumption evolution, etc.)
  • Bring forward new ways of thinking, innovative ideas on how to maximize use of digital properties and drive traffic
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Understand, analyze and recommend actions for organic search supporting the Human Experience Management presence on the web
  • Work with extended teams pulling together content updates and copy enhancements to maximize performance
  • Align with teams executing local paid media to craft strategy and launch execution for functions to work in unison
  • Programs Operations Support
  • Operational execution is critical to success in our programs
  • Provide execution support and project management support for digital enhancement initiatives
  • Track progress and prepare reports for marketing leadership

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Your application should include an updated resume highlighting academic degrees, relevant work experience with former employers (including internships), familiarity with software applications (specifically Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint) , English language proficiency, and any work sample you would like to showcase given the expectations of the role ( writing sample highly desirable),
  • Currently registered in an accredited 4-year undergraduate program
  • Working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications or Business highly preferred. This is not a technical internship.
  • Availability: 30 hours/week during school year
  • Prior Work Experience in a professional office environment, AND/OR a leadership position within your academic institution preferred. Master level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interested in software and technology industry
  • Top notch at research and data analysis, highly effective in collecting and analyzing information as well conveying data into easy to understand formats.
  • Top notch writer, highly effective in conveying information with the capability to keep communications concise and focused.
  • Independent, flexible proactive work style,
  • Able to navigate complex problems and apply critical thinking with ease.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English
