YOUR FUTURE ROLE :

We are looking for an experienced Change Request Manager in cloud operations for one of our strategic customer accounts.

As a Change Request Manager, you are responsible for E2E change creation during cloud operations. You apply customer's change request process and procedures and ensure process compliance. You work in close collaboration with ECS internal and customer teams to deliver all necesary changes in time. You wil be in direct contact with customers, via phone, email or ticketing tool ( Service Now). You provide guidance in creating the necessary documents to technical and non-technical teams.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Solid technical background to understand cloud operations language
  • Knowledge/certification in ITIL, especially Change Request Management
  • Experience in communication with customers and managing expectations
  • Strong customer focus and service minded
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
  • Good team player and ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
  • Able to provide knowledge transfer from certain technology and process areas
  • Proactive in learning and highly self-motivated
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Master’s degree in engineering, information technologies or equivalent training and job experience
  • At least 5 - 7 years of experience in similar roles
  • The change manager will participate in change advisory board (CAB) and emergency change (eCAB), ensuring the information presented to customer is complete and provides them with the information they need to make informed decisions about the changes, prioritizing and approving them, or rejecting them.
  • Responsible for managing the change queue and ensuring changes are raised and approved efficiently, with minimum disruption for internal and external stakeholders
  •  Prioritize changes according to business objectives
  • Exposure to Service Now is considered an advantage (Change Request Management; Reports and KPIs,

Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area and consists of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS). As private cloud managed services provider, Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery is offering a key aspect in the intelligent business transformation journey of our customers.

 

Purpose and Objectives
One of SAP’s strategic customers has setup a transformation program called Journey to Cloud (J2C). A cornerstone of this transformation is to consume the entire SAP landscape as SaaS provided by SAP. To provide the right level of service, it has been decided to build a new team within Enterprise Cloud Services. The team is working dedicated for our strategic client and will operate the entire customer SAP landscape with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest HANA-based systems (e.g. 2x24TB ERP scale-out
