Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area and consists of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS). As private cloud managed services provider, HEC Delivery is offering a key aspect in the intelligent business transformation journey of our customers and by joining forces with CAS, we enter a new era of end-to-end service experience for our customers.   

One of our large customers has setup a transformation program called Journey to Cloud (J2C). A cornerstone of this transformation is to consume the entire SAP landscape as SaaS provided by SAP. In order to provide the right level of service, it has been decided to build a new team within ECS. The ECS Client Delivery Management (CDM) will provide an E2E service and will work dedicated for our customer, operating the entire customer SAP landscape with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest HANA-based systems (e.g. 2x24TB ERP scale-out). The CDM team will work on building the services according to Nestlé needs, it will bring those services into daily operations and will work on continuous improvement and automation. 


Within the CDM organization we set up the Technical Service Management (TSM) team that handle all operational aspects. For this team we’re looking for experienced technical experts with a strong customer focus to become a Technical Landscape Owner.

In your new role you will oversee all aspects of operation for environments with a focus of understanding and controlling dependencies. To provide the best customer experience for Nestle, you will work on the optimization of our technical services and collaborate closely with all teams in the CDM organization

As part of your E2E responsibility for the landscape your tasks will cover:

  • Align on planning activities and system build processes, define Handover criteria before any environment will be released for the customer
  • Discuss and align with the Release Management on upcoming changes  
  • Ensure high availability of customer service by supporting service restoration in critical situation  
  • Analyze and deep dive on issues including creation of RCAs as foundation for continuous improvement
  • Drive automation of services and improvement of existing automation via close collaboration with CLM development as well as MCD Productization team 
  • Mentor and Guide junior members of the team, ensuring the scalability of our services



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Mathematics or comparable
  • Strong background in SAP technology and products – especially profound knowledge in SAP NetWeaver Administration and Operations and cross-dependencies like integration
  • Excellent knowledge of the whole technology stack (Application, Database, Server management) and the ability to analyze issues and system architectures in full depth 
  • Strong Technical Expertise in SAP Installations and Upgrades in multi-regional environments
  • Ability to own, lead and coordinate operational tasks, customer escalations, process improvements
  • Good understanding of HECs operations infrastructure, processes and automation tools like SPC, TIC etc. is a plus
  • Competency to take critical decisions and working under high pressure
  • Be a team player and able to inspire and energize team with strong technical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work on weekends/off hours during critical customer escalations, cut-overs or go-lives.


8+ years in Operations or as a SAP technical consultant

Experience in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals across different organizations
