ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The consultant role will involve both business and functional expertise and will comprise the delivery of consulting services projects involving HANA modelling to best address our customer’s needs.
In summary:
- SAP HANA modelling hands on design and build
- Support in escalated projects
- Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews
- Support of pre-sales activities
- Taking over responsibility from time to time as a sub project team leader
- Detailed planning of process implementation
- Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
- Develop and Assure quality of process models
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
In addition to a strong business and analytics background, the position requires strong problem-solving and consulting capabilities with the ability to communicate effectively in an international team environment. The ideal candidate will be need to be immediately billable to customers and covers a major part of the following expertise areas:
Background:
- University / Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering or equivalent
- Strong industry or LoB knowledge
- Experience in designing Corporate Management solutions and Enterprise Analytics architectures
- Strong SAP Analytics and Data Warehousing solution know how, preferably in SAP BW/4HANA
- Fluent in English
Personal skills:
- Experience of working in a virtual team is highly desirable
- Strong work ethic, dependable, and responsible
- Easily able to stay on top of technology innovations and eager to continuously develop yourself in new topics
- Must be a flexible self-starter who can ramp up with new technologies quickly and can adapt to a growing and rapidly evolving team
- Willingness to participate in the sales process as a subject matter expert
- Ability to inspire confidence and work with all levels of client and internal staff
- Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations to non-scientific audiences
- High energy, clear goal orientation and strong work ethic; “can do” attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English at fluent level is a must
- Ability to discuss on C-Level and translate their expectations towards a corporate management solution into a business blueprint
- Motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure
Customer facing skills:
- Ability to capture customer requirements and translate them into software specifications
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and precise manner; with non-technical audience
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Presentation skills – ability to create professional presentations, handle proper setup of location, use technical/visual aid, have adequate body language and vocabulary, proactively engage with customer and handle questions
- Project Management track record (liaison with Customer, Sales team, Marketing, Customer Service teams)
Work experience:
- 8+ years overall experience in business and technical role
- A minimum of 2 full cycle implementations
- Strong know how in SAP HANA is a must with SAP BW/4HANA skills desirable
- Track record of successfully implementing production of analytics projects in challenging environments
